2021 Season

UpdatedFriday October 1, 2021 byAmy Goggiano.

Players, Coaches, Parents and Hockey Fans,

I hope you have all fared well through the past year and a half! The typical in-line hockey season is upon us. In order for that to happen, our league as a whole needs to determine if that is possible. The league is in good standing in all respects. We have the financial ability to hold a season, the City will allow us to hold our season, we have a brand new floor (a brand new replacement of the last new floor). We typically start set-up of the rink in October. What we need is volunteers and participants. Before we worry too much about participants, we need to cover the volunteer aspect. We need a completely new Board of Directors, we need set-up/take down crews, we need coaches and we need referees, just to name a few. I plan to be a participant and volunteer of the league, but my current work commitments force me to step away from the President position. I will support the coming season as if I was the President as I transition the new blood into the league. What I need at this point is a strong commitment and response to this email to fill the volunteer positions. Please let me know ASAP if you are willing to fill any of the following positions:

Vice President

Youth Coordinator

Adult Coordinator

Head Referee

Web Manager

Equipment Manager

Set-up/Takedown Crew

Our website has the by-laws which give some insight to these positions.  They can be found here: Sierra Inline Hockey League Board By-Laws

I look forward to your response.

Scott Foster
President, Sierra Inline Hockey League
